I know that some were already aware, but for those who are not my wife and I are expecting our first child at the end of December. The day before our wedding, there were alarming complications in her pregnancy that left me little choice but to step down from the GM staff so I could focus on attending to her.
Suffice it to say, things have gone from concerning to absolutely delightful. We had our first pre-natal appointment today, and our unborn(who was fittingly nicknamed "the Bean" by Zelvax,) is doing very very well. All evidence is pointing towards a strong fetus preparing to enter the second trimester. Heartbeat was good and strong, blood levels were perfect, etc.
On top of that, I was offered a transfer to Richmond that promises a substantial pay increase, so I'll be moving back up north in the next few weeks. All in all, we couldn't feel more blessed right now and I felt it appopriate to share that good fortune with all of you. 
For those who wish to keep up with this rather delightful journey, I'll be more than happy to continue posting as we progress through the pregnancy and prepare to welcome our child into our lives.

Congratulations to both new daddies to be. Just remember, those are future ULers that you are making there.
I wish you all the best in the upcoming months, and that you cherish the moments..because you will blink, and they will be gone, and your babies will be grown :(

Grats! I wish you the best of luck in your new job and in your new family! I know you'll take great care of them all Being a parent is the most difficult, yet most rewarding job you can ever have the blessing/curse to have lol A blessing in that you won't want to ever miss any of it, a curse in that it some moments will break your heart and render you so utterly defenseless you'll feel like a mad mess  You'll love it!
