1. Download the game client from the Dawn Of Chaos companion site.

2. While you are downloading the client, take the time to read the background story. If you used to play Underlight, you'll need to know that none of the old history exists.

3. Sign up for a forum account. This will be the account that all of your characters will be associated with. It will also allow you to keep up on the latest news in the forums!

4. Using your forum account, create your character here. You are currently allowed to have up to four characters total. You may with to read the Guides before creating a character.

5. Run the game, enter your character's information, and roleplay! If you did not note your character password, you will see that information on your forum account profile.

6. On the game launch screen, you can opt to "start with training" or not. Most players have better connectivity with the "Use UDP Proxy" box checked.

7. Shades of Truth is a player-run project that depends on word-of-mouth advertising and player donations to continue running. If you like the game, help us out! :)
